How to clean the cameras on your Peugeot 3008
The Peugeot 3008 (from 2024) has a windscreen camera for driver assistance, a rear camera and, with VisioPark 360°, four cameras around the car. Dirty lenses cause blurry or dropped images. Regular cleaning keeps the images clear.
Where are the cameras on the Peugeot 3008?
- Windscreen, outside in front of the camera

Where dirt builds up
Spray, dirt, and road grime accumulate on the cameras located at the front and rear, particularly during rainy conditions or when driving on unpaved roads. Water splashes are caught by the side cameras in the mirrors when water is sprayed onto the road. There is no way to clean these cameras automatically.
The windscreen camera supports driver assistance systems, the rear camera helps with parking and VisioPark 360° gives all-round view while parking. Dirty lenses can make these functions less accurate or disable them temporarily.
How to clean the cameras on your 3008

Tear open
Each wet wipe is separately packaged to remain damp for months when left in a vehicle.

Wipe the lens
A wet wipe can be used to remove dirt, road grime (film) and finger prints. Use the minimum amount of pressure to clean your lenses.

Bin it
Do NOT use an individual wipe twice. After you have cleaned one surface, you will need to dispose of the wet wipe as the dirt has been transferred into the wipe. If you reuse a wet wipe, it may scratch the coating on your lens.

Does every Peugeot 3008 have a 360° camera system?
No, VisioPark 360° depends on the trim. A standard rear camera (Visiopark 1) is fitted on all versions.
Can a wipe remove haze on the inside of the windscreen?
No – wiping down the exterior of the camera lens would not correct this. Interior hazing is a separate issue.
Why does my 3008's parking camera sometimes show a blurry image?
Dirt, raindrops or road grime on the lens often cause a blurry image. Cleaning the lens usually solves it.
