How to clean the cameras on your Ford Mustang Mach-E
Your Mustang Mach-E has a windscreen camera, a rear camera and, depending on trim, a front 360-degree camera plus cameras in the side mirrors. These cameras feed the driver assist systems and need clean lenses to work properly. Dirt on the lens quickly turns into a blurry or black image on screen.

Where dirt builds up
The rear camera and rear window take the most abuse. A low-pressure zone forms behind the car where tyre spray and dust get trapped, especially in rain and on muddy roads. Some trims have a washer for the front camera, but there is no built-in cleaning for the rear camera.
Parking assist, the 360-degree camera and driver assist functions that rely on the windscreen camera only work well with clean lenses. A dirty rear camera often shows a blurry or dark image when reversing.

Each wet wipe is separately packaged to remain damp for months when left in a vehicle.

Wipe the lens
A wet wipe can be used to remove dirt, road grime (film) and finger prints. Use the minimum amount of pressure to clean your lenses.

Bin it
Do NOT use an individual wipe twice. After you have cleaned one surface, you will need to dispose of the wet wipe as the dirt has been transferred into the wipe. If you reuse a wet wipe, it may scratch the coating on your lens.

The rear camera sits in a zone behind the car where tyre spray and dust collect. There is no washer for it, so you need to wipe the lens yourself.
Does the Mustang Mach-E have a washer for its cameras?
US-spec cars with the 360-degree camera have a washer for the front camera. It is not confirmed whether this is fitted on European cars, so check your own vehicle.
Can a wipe fix a blurry image caused by a fogged-up windscreen?
No, if the haze is on the inside of the windscreen, cleaning the camera will not help. That is a separate issue related to moisture or ventilation.
